She grumbled, batting his hand away again. “Why do I? Can’t just enjoy a drink?“
“Since when have you ever wanted to drink to enjoy it and not use it to forget something?” He eyed her.
She looked away, unable to formulate a convincing answer.
“That’s the face you make when I’m right and since you’re not arguing, either, there’s something on your mind.” Shark-boy knows her way too well.
“You’re imagining things...” She growled, never one to admit she had a drinking related problem.
He grunted, resigning. He didn’t want to make things worse. “You’re right, I must be.”
She lowered her eyes, feeling guilty that she had snapped at him. “I’m sorry…..” She sighed.

She batted his hand away. “Isn’t.” Rubs her cheek, pouting.
